Overall: My team truly enjoys using Trustpilot. I have recently heard the name used more often and I'm excited for their progress. I feel as though the technology that comes with working with Trustpilot makes it a win-win for the organization and Trustpilot. Pros: The absolute best feature is the ability to have customers write a review without going thru a painful sign-up process. It is very easy to use with lots of tools and useful add-ons. They also seem to be updating it regularly which is nice. Cons: Unfortunately, we have found that many users see our Google or Facebook reviews before they ever get to our TrustPilot page. Would be nice if our TP reviews could transfer over to other review communities, but understand that would be very difficult to make happen. Pros: The best thing about it is the feedback you get that you normally would not with a product review or the typical call in to your support team. We learn about all sorts of issues, from policy to web design, that we act on to stop those reviews from coming in and improve our chances for a more positive experience. Cons: UI is a little clunky and really intuitive at times. As a developer, I can usually find what I need pretty easily, but a few components are tucked into odd areas IMO. Pros: Setting up the initial send of invitations for reviews and adding the review TrustBox to our website were quite easy. We started receiving reviews almost instantly and continue to bring in positive reviews for our customers. Cons: The Magento integration was not as simple as we would have liked. It took some time working with support to get it fully integrated with our Magento version 1. At one point we noticed we were not receiving reviews and found out the Magento integration simply stopped working. We had to work through re-setting it up again, which did work, but only realized after checking into why we hadn't received a review in a while. Pros: What I like most about the software is how user friendly it is and provides useful information to us as a business so that we as a company can address customer service reviews good or bad. Reporting is a useful tool as well. It lets us as management know of the trends and what could be approved upon company wide. Cons: Honestly I can't think of anything that I don't like about the software. Overall: The benefits of Trustpilot is it gives the customer's a voice on the experience they had with our company. Pros: Very straightforward, easy to understand. I can easily filter per star and it posts my public responses right away. Cons: No private response and there's no search button to find a certain review. There are some reviews that are coming from Europe areas which we DO NOT cater, however, when I flag it, most of the time their Trustpilot's customer support puts it back to the queue. So what are we going to do with those reviews then? Overall: Can easily manage reviews and makes us know what the customer thinks about the company. Pros: I like the easy user interface for both our team and the end-user. The automated email for site review helps us maintain a good relationship of contact with the customer as well as address any issues they might have had. Cons: the cost of this software is a bit high, in my opinion. Similar services offer the same features for 20-30% less than TrustPilot. I think that a bit more customization on the emails going out would be nice - allowing for some history of the items purchased, etc. Pros: We use Trustpilot for our business review service. It works well and definitely does have an influence on people looking to buy from us. The integrations are slick and everything works as it should do. Cons: The cost far out weighs the benefit and we probably won't be renewing when our contract ends. I feel you can get the same benefit with Google reviews and that's free. This is by far the biggest cost for software in the business. Overall: Good software but way to expensive for what it is. Pros: I really appreciate the platform's intuitive user experience. It's simple to navigate, and the support from our Customer Support Manager is outstanding. Cons: I honestly don't have anything negative to say about this software application. Overall: Trustpilot is extremely simple to use - from managing customer reviews to analyzing the data. The support I receive from my Trustpilot Account Manager is always exemplary. My questions are answered quickly, and she keeps me up-to-date on the latest Trustpilot enhancements and review sharing innovations. Pros: I enjoy the ease of the software and the responsiveness of the customer care team. I also like the fact they keep the reviews honest. If we get a bad review from time to time, as much as I want to have it taken down, they won't. I appreciate this type of integrity. Cons: I don't think the set up or training of how to the use the system was up to par. Onboarding was somewhat difficult. That being said, once you do understand it and get used to it, it is a snap. Overall: I think having a credible resource for my clients and potential clients has been very important to our business. Overall, this is a great service and I would recommend it to other business owners. We have a Magento 2. I love that it is easy for our customers to review us and we have the opportunity to respond to their request and ask them for higher ratings. The system notifies us of new posts and we have a team that responds quickly to the customer to delight them and their needs. Great way to see if we are caring for our customers by offering a chance for them to rate us and respond to our service. Cons: The Trustpilot software makes it difficult to hide any obvious sabotaging reviewers. These are reviewers that are being paid by competition to leave bad experiences. Even by our contacting these reviewers and giving them what they want they will not update their reviews. Overall: The greatest benefit we get from Trustpilot is that our customers know that we are a five-star company that cares about quality and value. It shows that we stand behind our products and separates us from our competition. Pros: We are able to sync TrustPilot to our Woocommerce website so invitations are automatically sent out. Saves the time of having someone input invitations 1 by 1. Cons: Nothing that I can think of. The only thing that may be an issue is the widget may slow loading time of a page. We just have to use a smaller one. Overall: A lot of customers look for reviews just to gauge if overall expected experience is positive. With our high score, people tend to complete their order with confidence. Pros: Trustpilot is an easy to use review platform designed to help businesses to increase reviews but also at the same time is a great outlet to receive customer feedback. As with any platform one needs to devote time and effort into maximizing results but once you put the time and effort into figuring out how a software can benefit your company, you will may be impressed at what it may end up achieving. Cons: In case a customer leaves a bad review, it is generally hard to fix. But Trustpilot allows some sort of way to respond to the review. In many cases this is a hit or miss. Pros: The functionality of the software is very smooth and easy. We're able to filter and consume reviews quickly and with ease. The ability to send out emails directly through the platform is essential! Cons: Sometimes our customers don't fill out all the fields properly because they aren't required, so problem-solving negative reviews can be difficult. I would like to see a few more ways to use the image generator in the future. Pros: The excellent thing about Trustpilot is that all the reviews come from real, verified customers: their security system is super strong and they immediately detect and flag fake reviews. That's an excellent point. Also, there is a nice feature allowing you to invite your customers to leave a review on Trustpilot once the order is completed. Finally, the moderation platform is pretty user-friendly. Cons: Honestly, compared to other services like Verified Reviews or Google Trusted Store, I must say that Trustpilot seems really more serious and transparent, so I do not find major drawbacks. May they could add features allowing businesses to share excellent reviews more easily on their website, as marketing content. Pros: Easy to use. Easy on the eyes. Integration with Zendesk makes it easy. Cons: Ironically, there several options but still Limited when needing to flag reviews. Pros: I do like that Trustpilot actively keeps me in tune with my customers and the general public's feedback on our products and services. Cons: For adverse complaints, the individuals who post them are not always identifiable. In a competitive business environment of constantly attempting to increase customer satisfaction this would be a good advantage to have. Overall: It keeps me in touch with public perception of our products and services. Pros: Our organization has used Trustpilot since 2014. It's been an exceptional tool to represent not only our company but our high standards as well. Trustpilot is a forward-thinking tool that can be used to increase traffic, conversions and social engagement. It's the perfect vehicle to represent and promote our organization by the reviews our customers give! Cons: What I like least about the software is the administration portal. Overall: The benefits we get from Trustpilot are plentiful! Not only do the customer reviews help promote our brand, I also send out weekly emails to the respective Account Managers and CC their managers who the review is ultimately about. It's an excellent tool for customers -- internal and external! Pros: Extremely easy to use for the business and the consumer. Great support always provided. Haven't experienced something that I didn't like. Overall: I have been working with Trustpilot for over 5 years and have recommended the software to many colleagues. It is very easy to use and I have always been able to reach support for any issues. The price isn't cheap but the benefits we see outweigh the cost. Cons: Users tend to not read and will leave product reviews within the company review area. Trustpilot will not budge when it comes to mistakes by users. If Trustpilot makes an error, they are still unwilling to remove reviews that were directly tied to issues caused by Trustpilot error. Pros: I like this software because its easy to use. I can go in and edit the message being sent, the frequency in which it is sent and respond to those who leave a review. They are also constantly adding new features to make it easier to use and have a broader purpose. Cons: Currently, our retail site does not do a large quantity of orders, therefore, the price for the software is a bit much for what we do. Overall: Our customer service rep always does her best to help us when we have an issue and checks in to make sure things are running smoothly! I never feel like they have forgotten about us! Pros: I absolutely love that this is such a reliable software that many people know about and trust. Using it instantly makes my company so much more credible in the eyes of my potential clients. I love that I can now add this to my email signature when I send out emails to potential clients. Cons: The website is a little faulty.. Also some text are not showing up, and the site response time is a little laggy. The Automatic Feedback Service is also something I'm not 100% sold on at the moment. To explain this a little more, if you want to be indexed in Google as a Google Seller Ratings, you'll have to use this feature. There doesn't seem to be much protection for the seller, so I'm not going to use it at the moment. Overall: It definitely makes my business more credible! I am very pleased with this official and professional way I can make my services stand out. Pros: I went through a few review providers before finding Trustpilot a few years back. It's got the most trusted user base, most integrations and therefore was good for me when I implemented it at a large startup. The API is also stellar and for managing reputation it's a solid vendor to use. Cons: The pricing for a software, that collects reviews is just too high for us, especially since we are a startup. Our customer service team uses Trustpilot to respond to feedback and assist customers who choose to post there. Trustpilot is very easy to use, offers detailed documentation, a responsive support staff, and helpful reporting. Cons: Our main complaint about Trustpilot is the lack of automated pre-tagging for service review invitation batches sent through their interface. This is problematic since our customer support then needs to manually tag hundreds of reviews by language. Their only pre-tagging options are for setting up automated emails which do not currently fit our business model or our developer time to implement this in or system. For other businesses setting up automated emails our main drawback won't be a problem. I love that all the reviews show up and I have the opportunity to respond to each and every one. It's a vital feature for my team to have since we provide support over social media and email. It's fantastic that Trust Pilot has created this option unlike review sites like Yelp where you need to wait for the customer to reply to your response in order to help them because it makes it easy for the support team to locate the customers inquiry and provide quick an efficient support. Cons: There's no inbox feature which would be nice to have in the event someone were to leave a bad review but maybe wouldn't at first if they could private message us. If a bad review can be avoided with an inbox feature that would be ideal for any company. Not having this also requires some extra handle time for agents working and responding to reviews. Pros: What I like most about Trustpilot is the ease of which a company can accumulate reviews, show other potential customers your overall ratings, and display those reviews all in one convenient place. The website widget is also a nice add on piece for businesses that don't want to have to constantly update their webpages with testimonials. The widget rotates reviews and displays current content, which helps keep the website from ever looking stale. Cons: Compared to some other review software out there, there are only two things I don't like about the software. First, the displayed reviews on the website are one format. Other software I've worked with has a variety of layouts and can be modified to match the website's theme and layout. Secondly, having all of the reviews in one place is great Trustpilot's website , however in an organic search, Google and Facebook reviews will help a business gain exposure and higher ranking again, organically. That may change as Google's algorithms are constantly updated, but that could be a potential drawback especially for people who don't know about or regularly use Trustpilot for reviews. Overall: I was able to gain reviews more easily from happy customers and keep them out in front of potential customers. I love that every review is guaranteed to be authentic and that it truly shows how effective companies are at customer service. Their prices are a little high compared to others in the industry. Pros: Trustpilot is a great review platform. If you use Google ads, this is a must. I have used Trustpilot at multiple companies and will continue to come back. Overall: The major benefits you get with Trustpilot are the Google Seller Ratings as well as the SEO benefits through the trustboxes that have Schema built-in. There's no need for extensive training. Other than simplicity, the results are what we like most. We're able to gather great insights into how our customers view our brand, and into what service areas need improvement. They're very supportive, and our account manager is great! We've had some challenges with getting our service delivery people to consistently send out invitations, and Trustpilot has been great with sending us resources and ideas to make the process easier and more fun for our front-line employees. Pros: It is nice to know these reviews are from customers I know ordered with our company and aren't just making up reviews. Similarly, I like that transparency for the customer to know we aren't simply boosting ourselves. Cons: I wish there was a more solid way to ensure competitors aren't just selectively giving out reviews to avoid low star experiences. We instead invite all to review to ensure anyone with concerns or issues has a reasonable resolution. Overall: I now know when customers are very satisfied or dissatisfied and I can address any issues or concerns that a customer may not have brought up previously. Not every problem is a 1-star review. I have seen critical comments and recommendations on 4-and 5-star reviews which helps improve my business. Pros: The monthly price was reasonable for the added features. Especially when you wanted to keep track of your websites and make sure they don't get blocked by providers. Cons: The service is no longer available or has changed to a new company. According to the email I mentioned earlier. But it had a great concept and run. Great way to fight back as a business owner. Cons: Difficult to roll out on some platforms like wordpress. They like their code the way it is and they try to persuade people from changing it. They are using their code to give themselves SEO benefit, which should be ripped out immediately and replaced with code that provides you, the customer, the most benefit. A little shady on that aspect. Pros: I like being able to manage when the invites are sent out. I also like being able to communicate directly with the customer. Cons: I do not like that I can not send a link directly from my personal email to the customer so that they can review. Overall: I get to review what our customers think of our product and customer service. Pros: Ability to integrate with our internal work orders for reviews. The reporting has also been really helpful in seeing different star ratings Cons: Just one page - would be helpful if we could have sub pages for different locations i.
